Can municipal prefab container houses withstand extreme weather?

Certainly. Our containers are made of S355J2+N steel frames which are tested in wind loads of 200km/h and snow loads of 2.5kN/m², which are standard for category 3 hurricanes. The roofs are designed with a 5° slope to ensure water does not pool. Additionally, we have 12mm fire-rated cement boards which provide a 2-hour fire resistance. For areas at risk of flooding, we have elevated foundations with adjustable helical piles to ensure that the units are 1.5m above the expected flood levels.
The 900mm doors, 36in counters, and specially textured flooring for the blind ensure each unit individually addresses the ADA standards. Grab bars and foldable seats along with the slip resistant flooring in the restrooms also assist the disabled.
