Arctic Container Engineering

Our Arctic containers balance engineering and design; steel frames are rated for -60°C, snow loads of 600 kg/m2, and wind speeds of 250 km/h. Insulation is complete with triple-layered vacuum panels, aerogel, and foam, rated over 50. Heating needs are reduced 70% compared to regular containers. Comfort is ensured with double-glazed thermal block, anti-condensation, and weathering cladding corrosion. The interior remains protected with anti-rust compounds necessary for the Arctic saline air.

All structures built in the Arctic must overcome the Arctic's extreme cold climate, fierce winds, and severe logistical challenges. Jinan Xinouda's prefab container houses are the projects being engineered to overcome these challenges. Each container house consists of highly engineered, cold-rolled S355J2+N dual-steel beams and frames, whose joints are ice movement and permafrost settling resistant, and will knitted together. The outer walls consists of marine-grade aluminum alloy 5083-H321, which is 3 times more corrosive resistant than most steels. To ensure safety, the inner walls uses fire rated composite panels. To achieve energy efficenc, the homes uses vacuum insulated panels (VIPs) with 0.004 W/m·K thermal conductivity, inner and outer aerogel blankets with polyurethane foam to thermal to maximize insulation to thermal bridges. For water efficiency and freshwater winter imports to homes, greywater recycling modules treat wastewater to potable standards, cutting freshwater imports by 80%.
